Theatre Chair Revival

Help Save The Abandoned Theatre Seating

Keeping with the theme of recycled materials, The Revival has saved over 400 theatre chairs from an old and abandoned Berlin theatre. The historic theatre was originally built in 1952 offering a program of theatre, opera, ballet and film. Over the years the theatre saw many different operators before finally closing it doors and sitting empty for over 20 years. The chairs were removed and transported to our warehouse to undergo careful restoration. The process is slow and expensive but the end result is a beautifully preserved and restored piece of history from Berlin’s theatre scene. The chairs will be installed in the kino offering guests a chance to experience history while the lifespan of the historic chairs continues in a new event space. To help raise money The Revival is selling some of the extra chairs with funds going towards to restoration process. We have several theatre chairs to sell to anyone looking to upgrade their home theatre or anyone simply interested in helping out with the cinema concept. If you are interested in purchasing a theatre chair please contact Joshua Dullroy for more information.
